After extensive renovations, the 1912 Saint Bernadette Church in Canadensis is now the Pocono Palms wedding venue. The grand arches and black and white color scheme serve the historical aspect of the structure for a wedding that is both beautiful and charming.
This former church turned event venue is located in the heart of the Poconos and surrounded by luscious and picturesque greenery. Those who want an outdoor and indoor experience will love the garden ceremony site complete with a cocktail area, and the interior reception hall that can accommodate up to 150 guests with a large dance floor. With access to the property for your entire day, you will have ample time to get ready in the bridal suite, which features glam stations, dressing areas, and a lounge and bar.
The venue features an outdoor garden ceremony site and cocktail area and a large, indoor reception hall with stunning archways, lush greenery, and custom-built tables. The decommissioned church circa 1912 has been restored into a contemporary enclave complete with secret spots. Pocono Palms is also super LGBT friendly – ” One of our goals as a venue is to offer constant support and alliance to the LGBTQ+ community.”
The Palms offers micro wedding and elopement packages along with traditional larger packages. Read all about it at Philadelphia magazine.
